Moda Custom colour - terms & Conditions
Each Moda Custom Colour bike is hand-painted in the UK by our experienced paint team. All custom paintwork is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. However, this warranty does not cover cosmetic wear and tear, including stone chips, abrasion from bags or panniers, wear in high-contact areas such as dropouts, or scratches resulting from crashes, impacts, or leaning the bike against rough surfaces.
Lead Times
Choosing a custom colour scheme will increase the lead time of your order. Estimated lead times are clearly stated during the ordering process, but please allow additional time beyond standard builds, as each custom-painted bike is finished by hand. Timelines may vary depending on seasonal demand and painter availability.
Returns & Cancellations
Because each Custom Colour bike is built and painted to your individual specification, we cannot accept cancellations or returns, except in the case of a structural manufacturing fault. Please ensure you are fully satisfied with your chosen design before placing your order. Our team is happy to assist via showroom consultations or virtual appointments to help finalise your design.
Hand-Painted Finish
While we take every care to deliver an exceptional finish, minor cosmetic variations and subtle paint imperfections are part of the hand-painting process and contribute to the unique character of your custom bike. These are not considered defects.
Usage & Wear
Our bikes are built for real-world riding—whether on tarmac, gravel, or mixed terrain. Over time, it’s normal for your paintwork to pick up light marks, chips, or wear, particularly in harsher riding environments. We offer a range of touch-up paints for most colours and finishes to help keep your bike looking its best.*
In the event of a crash or transport damage, our team can advise on touch-up options or crash replacement framesets, where applicable. Please contact us to discuss available solutions.
Care & Maintenance
To maintain the quality and appearance of your paintwork, we recommend regular cleaning and inspection. Proper care helps preserve both the finish and the validity of your paint warranty.
Paint Availability
While uncommon, Moda reserves the right to discontinue specific colours or finishes without notice. If your order is affected, we will contact you directly to offer an alternative or discuss available options.
*Please note: Touch-up paints are not available for colour-flip or special edition finishes due to the complexity of the application.
